Adjusting Rear Shocks on a Sedan
Does anyone have adjustable shocks that adjust old school from the top of the shock, i.e. Koni's or D-specs?? Is the rear adjustment accessible??

Re: Adjusting Rear Shocks on a Sedan
I have the d-specs on my sedan and the rears are indeed adjustable. I'm going to post some pictures when I get a moment and they should explain everything.

So, how are the back shocks accessed? How do you move the rear seats forward? I don't want to anything that would ruin the seats. I want to adjust my dspecs to match the setting in front since the shop didn't adjust them for me when they installed it. Thanks for the help.

Do you have the reclining rear seats? If you don't - I'm not sure how to do it since I only know how to do it on reclining rear seats. Do your seats fold down (forward)?

Koni yellow's adjust from the very top of the shock. This article shows you how you install a flat washer in the oem rear upper shock mount. The oem part your replacing is not flat, it's kinda bowl shaped.
http://www.solo2.org/blogs/christoc/...06/08/374.aspx The Koni front shocks are annoying to adjust because on both sides stuff is in the way and hampers adjusting. The battery output cable on one side and the A/C return lines on the other. |
