It looks like surface rust, so I wouldnt be to worried, if it was bubbling, then I would really scrutinize the car!

Yeah seems like no one really has a big concern with that.

There is however a little bit of bubbling on the driver door pillar, in the black right above the door.

What I truly want doesn't exist. I want a very clean car but I know that wont happen given my price range. I did however find one about 30 miles away from this one that looks extremely clean, however not exactly the color I want, but it's a year newer same mileage and has nav. Hopefully this weekend I will be coming home with one or the other.

Seems like a lot of people have this problem. Have you noticed it has spread throughout this area, if it looks similar to this or is most of yours just at the seam mostly?

I have another question for those of you who are still following this or care to answer;

Would you rather have a car with a few issues/quirks in the color of your choice, or a spotless car for a little more money of a color that isn't your first choice?

Somewhere between.

When I was shopping, IP was not my first choice, and it had a dent on the rear bumper.
But the price was right, and it wasn't BS, DG or DP (there are waaaaaay to many of those around Tallahassee)

For the most part, I just ignored the colors I wasn't interested in.

Since you're looking solely for a 6MT, which is pretty rare, you might have to bend a little on color choice.

Ideally, I would have bought a 6MT in CB with black interior and the Areo kit, (in fact I had a line on one with everything but areo, but it sold too quickly)

You'll have to decide how important each choice is (transmission, color, interior color, nav, etc...) and in the end you might have to resort to a good ol' pro-con chart.
