Update. My connect has informed me that your not the only one that got hit in the same area. A couple of people had there wheels stolen. He said hes trying to see if he hears anything. And he knows alot of people. He throws the Headlight Theory Meets. He said hes going to keep an eye out and he'll keep me informed. Once again sorry for your loss bud...

Locking lugs can be defeated. Low end thieves will use an undersized socket and hammer it on to the locking lug to twist it off. This damages the socket and only works half the time. Snap-on also sells a locking lug remover kit for about $400 that higher end thieves will use.
Since I am aware of this I decided to get 4 sets of locking lugs($100), so that all lug nuts require a key. This may not stop a dedicated rim stealer but it will surely have him second guess the work of taking my wheels when the idiot down the street has no locking lugs on his car. Also most thieves using the hammer socket trick only carry 3-4 disposable sockets, carrying 20 is probably not going to happen.
Since I am aware of this I decided to get 4 sets of locking lugs($100), so that all lug nuts require a key.
