Where is the listing of common problems with the G's?

Been looking all over the faq area and have been trying to locate what the common issues, recalls, problems are with the 03-07 Sedans, but the only thing i've came across is extra oil consumption.
I know there has to be a few common problems, what are they?

I was looking into getting this:
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Example, i was also looking into getting a CTS, well they have big issues with timing chains going out and trashing the engine, along with massive oil consumption that seems there is no explanation for, so i'm steering clear of the Caddies...

Thanks all for the direction and info, i appreciate it.

Also, i wanted to ask, is there any aftermarket kits to replace the stock stereo? I can't seem to find any because the stock radio looks to be unmovable.

If you can't find that information by searching, you are not trying very hard.

compression rod bushings are weak, sway bar end links might need to be replaced, some REV up engines (exclusive to MT) have oil consumption issues, Radio and AC controls not responding due to a crappy circuit board in the OEM headunit (solved by getting and after market Double Din unit).

Stick to a 05-06 as they have worked out some of the kinks that exist in earlier models.

Keep up with maintenance (AT fluid change, oil change, spark plugs at 100k, get your brakes checked etc.) and you should have a G that serves you well.

1st gen sedans are only 03-06. 07 is the new body style

My brother is looking at '03-'04 Sedans and I was actually wondering the same thing. I know most of the common issues since I have an '05, but did Sedans ever have problems with the window motors going out? It seems like I've read that somewhere, but it might have just been the Coupes.

Just to add to the list, another common issue is oil in the spark plug tubes.
