Well fellas, we're gonna have our G35 in Gran Turismo 4!!

This just rules. I thought we would be left out in the cold and be stuck with only coupes and GT-Rs.. but there are 3 Skyline/G35s in GT4!

Looks fabulous too

Thats cool.
Its the 2003.0 model too. You can tell by the trunk lid.

Man the graphics on that game look pretty sweet. Too bad I have an Xbox

If you have a US PS2 you probably won't be able to play it. These games have "country codes". You can mod a PS2 to play all sorts of stuff, but you must be very adventurous to mod a PS2, (as compared to an Xbox, which is relativelty easy).

And I've given up holding my breath for GT4. I've played a demo a couple of times, and it looks amazing, but something is not what they are telling us. My prediction?? They can't ever fix the problems with it, and will eventually have to admit it.... and now would be a good time to sell your Sony stock.

I think the hold up was the online play.. I think back in October or November, they had a press conference stating that online/internet play would be removed.. it does, however, have network play abilities.. so rather than using that unilink cable or whatever, you just just jump on the same LAN (provided you have your own tv/monitor) and play other people..

I've had GT4 since it came out in Japan/HK (currently, in Taiwan and yes, my PS2 is modded).. it plays alright and the graphics are slightly better.. its most noticable to me when you're watching your replay.. but there are some jitters here and there.. like when you're in the winner's circle.. the video gets jumpy.. I havent had much time to play lately, so I havent seen the Skyline.. been more busy racing my FC3S RX7.. plus I cant read Chinese so I'm having some trouble navigating the menus :)

I'll check it out tonight and try to take a pic..

For you guys with modded PS2s. What mod chip did you use? And when you play a Chinese version of a game, do you need a PAL TV?

Im using DMS3 on my PS2. www.dms3.com
They have the DMS4 just came out, its the best chip on the market.
Im playing the GT4 Chinese version with a US PS2(modded) on a NTSC TV w/o any problem.
