Do 255/40 on the back. I believe the 255/35 will throw off your vdc to much.

Will likely rub on a sedan unless you are lowered and/or fenders are rolled flat. 255/35 are fine, see my sig.

Im running 225/35 and 245/40 in the back, until my new tires for the rear come in and I cant wait to drop to a 35 series in the back.. the 35 series looks 100% better!!

Swivel, yeah im gonna roll the rear fenders and i have tanabe coupe coilovers. i wish i could of found 255/35 but 255/40 was what i found. It was a set of pirelli zeros brand new for $500 so i just jumped on it.

Frankieg35, did you notice your vdc acting up at all with the different height tires? Im thinking im just gonna run these tires and see what happens lol.

So what would be the best set up for running 35s all around? I'm planning on doing this since it'd look a lot better.

I'm running 225/245.. The biggest I'd go would be 235/255..

Any problems with your setup? Thanks for the reply

Frankieg35 08-22-2012 10:31 AM

Nope none at all.. Just make sure you are dropped or else the wheel gap will be huge.. lol

Big Booty Trudy 08-22-2012 10:45 AM

Lol gotcha. I'll go with your 225/245 set up.

I from what I understand, the 245/35 front and 255/35 rear will give the best ride/performance on the OEM 19's. They look better than the oem sizes of 225/40 & 245/40 I plan on going to 245/35 & 255/35 once I wear out the OEM sizes.

Def 245/35 front.

I ran 245/35f, 245/40 rear and was less prone to understeer in the canyons. Also, 245/35 front is about the same diameter as stock in front.

Big Booty Trudy 08-22-2012 01:52 PM

See this is what I'm talking about lol. Some people say one size, some say another. So 245/255 is the best? I don't track the car. Just my DD for school and work. Trying to figure out the best setup.

If you want better handling characteristics then the wider the better. If not then a 225/245 will work. Depends on what you want out of the car.

I used to have 225/40 F 255/35 R, now I got 235/35 F. Next set i'll do 245/35 F and keep 255/35 in the back

Hey dude, I also just bought 245/35 & 255/35 for my rays(vent us v12). How do you like them vs stock? The size difference I mean...more traction?
