Car won't Start...Starter or Fuel Pump Issue?

My car died on me. All the inside lights and everything were working fine but no more clicking sound/crank when I try to start it. A jump-start didn't help either.

I Took my battery out and took it to Kragen and got it tested. Battery was perfect.

I rented a tool that will test to see if the fuel pump is bad or not. Will be testing it out tonight.

What do you guys think? Any thoughts?

Another thing, don't know if this is related or not, but for the past few weeks my car would die on me when I would initially start it unless I gave it a little gas, then it would be fine. I took apart the whole intake system and cleaned everything out including the MAF sensor, air filter, and throttle body. It fixed my issue about 90%. So, don't know if that is related lol...HELPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEE

My car has around 99K miles

if no click and engine does not turn over then, its your starter.
dont waste your time testing other things

it was the starter....changed it out today..starts up like a champ...very easy job

a bad starter shouldn't cause your car to die out on you.

A starter has one job, to start the car. Once that job is done it isn't in use anymore.

I'm glad you solved your problem but it doesnt make sense logically to me aleast.

Yes..I know. In the beginning, I wasn't sure if the latest problem I was having was something separate or related to my ongoing problem.(ended up being a bad starter)

My car still dies on me at times. It has gotten 80% better after I cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body a few days ago.

If you still dies on you at times. I would assume you have a vacuum leak or some sorts.
