G35x awd front wheel bearing/hub assembly
Hey guys new to the forums. Wife has a 2006 g35x awd and is in need of a front wheel bearing.
I am having trouble finding a bearing and hub assembly online anywhere for the awd. Everything seems to be for rwd. Anyone know where I can get one or will I need to buy them seperate? |
They don't come pre-assembled, although there is a retailer on Ebay who sells them pressed together. I don't know their name, but you'll need to search. But this is an exception, rather than the rule. They don't state what brand bearings they use
For the most part though you will buy a hub and a bearing and press them together yourself or have a shop do it. BTW the Timken bearings on rockauto.com are the same NTN brand bearings as OEM. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...-bearings.html |
Ok thanks.

Rock auto has them, sold assembled in the hub. |
Don't believe everything people tell you, especially Mr. Mustang

I think he said that cause only the bearing is shown. he asked for the whole assembly.

Here's one that may be assembled http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-HUB-BE...4e962c&vxp=mtr I'd ask the seller to confirm. The issue is they state the bbearing is aftermarket, but don't state the brand. Honestly, the pressing of the bearing is no big deal. You can use an arbor with a big enough lever. If not, i'm sure a local mechanic or machine shop can press it for $10-20 or so. It's not that hard. I've only had to do five of them (rolling eyes) |

I'd ask the seller if those are pre-pressed. The description says nothing about them being assembled and only shows pics of the individual parts.

Wrong, the first one on the list is AWD module! Read again! :banghead:
Yes but it is just the bearing module. U read again. The others are bearing hub assemblies |
I wanted to bring this back to life for some help hopefully. I am currently working on my 2004 G35X and cannot figure out which assembly to get. The only assembly I can find are for the 2007 model X and was not sure if that will fit the 2004. I know it has been 3 years and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a seller who sells the whole assembly now. Thanks!
