Question - Trunk Open Doesn't Trigger 'Door Open'
I had just noticed as I got out of my car that my trunk was not fully closed and checked the door open light but it was not lit. Just wondering if this is the same for everyone else.
Note - the light works fine for all the doors but not the trunk. Let me know fellas - thanks |
Re: Question - Trunk Open Doesn't Trigger 'Door Open'
I've found my trunk open on several occasions. Once a parking valet noticed it. There is apparently no in-car indicator light. I think the button on the key fob get depressed accidentally. On my Maxima, the button had to be held down for a period of time so the trunk could only be opened deliberately. Also, I think it may be possible to open the trunk when feeling for the VDC off switch.

Re: Question - Trunk Open Doesn't Trigger 'Door Open'
Shouldn't open when you are in drive, but try that. Otherwise it was open before that. Keep us posted.
Don't have that issue since I have one of the 2003's. https://g35driver.com/rides/spec/pix...1050858796.jpg |

If you have navigation, it will tell you that the trunk is open when you start to drive.
