yup. Thing is I can't just take it back to the tuner a bunch of times for fine tuning. I live on an island and he is on the mainland. a round-trip by ferry is $150. Haven't been able to find a local tuner yet.

I'm hoping the crank sensor wire is baffed because that's an easy fix.

A wide-band sensor might help for a better tune.

I have a sedan it's a 2004.5 sport pack model. One thing I have learned over the year not all cars are built the same. Especially the 1st Gen G35 lol.

Yes but once I'm done with all that I'm done modding this car. As it is now I surprise many similar or supposed to be faster car owners lol.

My next move is Admin 3.5 Intake and porting both upper and lower Plenum and runners. Should jump up to about 275-280whp.
Sounds good please keep the updates coming

350Z struts to go with the G/Z spring combo.

Burnt Copper Plasti Dip'd my stock sport wheels.

20mm front spacers

Black lugs to go with the theme.

Badges were matched also

End result blacked out the chrome around the windows. Just need for the struts to break in to see how much lower I am now. When I installed the springs a year ago it was a nice drop thx to the sport pack. Now with the 350z struts should get a little lower. It was a long rainy weekend glad I have a large garage.

Thx and I agree but it turned out so good now I'm ready to spray the whole car. My mother in law got my the DYC spray gun kit so I'm ready to try it.

Took me all day Saturday to do. But this was because I was between things. Normally it should take about a 1 - 1 1/2hrs since dry time between coats is about 5 min.

Lots of things this last week. Had a maintenance day on Sat.

2. New belts, a/c belt was badly cracked, but for 98k, not bad, cleaned and oiled air filter, glued the chrome ring back on the end of the air filter.. which fell off. Sanded and painted the metal bracket holding the pop charger shield. Had a lot of buildup on the batt terminals, cleaned it up. Engine bay cleaning.

Got my G back from a second round with the tuner. He had to re-think the way he had the ECUMaster reading the crank sensor, and whatever he did corrected all the other issues. No more lag or thrown codes. Adding a wideband sensor probably helped a bit. I took a 100 mile route home, through a mix of small towns, open freeway, gradual inclines and steep mountain passes and it hummed along like a charm. Even beat on it a bit more than I usually would and it's fine. Feels like a new car.

Next on the list: New shocks and a RH front lower control arm (bad bushing on the current one), adjustable upper arms, and rear components, and an alignment. Have all the stuff except the shocks because I can't decide on what to get.

Cutting my custom three-gauge centre console panel (pics to follow, including the relocated hazard switch), and replacing the cheap "filler" boost and oil pressure gauges with some trick AEM ones to match the nice new fuel/air gauge.

Then I don't know, probably fix the rip in the drivers seat?

whipped-up the very basic CAD for my gauge cluster. The small hole is for the new hazard switch location. Gotta round those corners, too. This is going to go over the space right below the head unit piece, where the ashtray and hazard switch are. The sedan shift console has a bit more real estate than the coupe, so might as well put it to use. It's either put gauges there or go back to smoking.

Might end up looking stupid, but I have to put them somewhere and I don't want them in the A-pillar, blocking the stock instruments, or on the dashboard.

Not to scale lol. What will you make the gauges out of, ABS?

Looks pretty neat, glad your code is no longer throwing.
