Smile My '04 G35x AWD Sedan Thread

Whats up guys just wanna journal my upgrades to the car i purchased last week. i know its an 04 but i never had a car this new or nice before lol.

Now the bose sound system is very nice but i need a lil more bump plus wanted a double din stereo with back up cam so i picked up all my audio equipment just waiting for it to get here, going to bring it to a shop to have it professionally installed .

I also ordered a pair of Kinetix Racing High Flow Catalytic Converters that just came in today, i plan on getting some dc racing headers and a cheap dual muffler on ebay and making it true dual exhaust.

**Is there anything i can coat these cats with to help prevent rust?**

Ceramic coating works and keeps heat out of the engine bay.

The DC Headers are a good choice. Most popular header that we sell and quite affordable.

it will fit your motor, but have you done research into it? I've seen this manifold in person on a 350z and its a sick looking manifold for sure, but does nothing for you if you're n/a.

most people will say just get a spacer.

I think people have seen very little improvement with the mrev2 on a nonrevup motor. Apparently there's a small change to the lower plenum in the rev up. The mrev2 changes this design. But the design change is similar to what the nonrevup already has so very little gains.

This is just what I have read.

Got the audiopipe 2000w mono amp in a few days ago. Just got the sub box from zenclosures yesterday. Not quite ready to install everything just did a mock up wit the amp and box (amp is nestled on top of sub box)

header gaskets came in today. Headers, muffler, and ceramic coating paint is coming in by monday. Gonna wash the high flow cats and muffler in acetone, then let dry, Afterwards spray them with ceramic coating and let dry for a few hours, will repeat a few times to get a thick coating.

Got the headers in today. The gasket holes match up good on the headers but there is some Excess gasket hanging over the edge. Can this be trimmed off or is it suppose to be like that ? Thanks in advance

On another note I got a short ram intake in today. Sounds super throaty now I love it. Also got the bright white license plate holder lights.
