Where should I buy mods?
 

I recently bought my 2006 infiniti g35 and want to start putting mods on it. I want to look at a new exhaust system (like HKS) but don't know where to find the parts. Same with intake and everything else. Where do you guys buy your mods and where should I get mine?

Depends on the price tbh, I usually hit up the marketplace vendors here first to see if anyone's got a stellar deal on things before using the power of the internet to look for deals.

I see.. I just don't wanna accidentally buy any fake parts or anything but what websites you usually hit?

For Motordyne, I buy straight from them. Read reviews and feedback from aftermarket sites to see what others think.

If you've got a higher budget, you can afford to call up reputable distributors like Z1, Motordyne, etc and take their recommendations. Personally, I monitor G/Z groups such as this forum, my350z, and various local facebook groups for used performance parts. A lot of high budget rebuildable (suspension parts) or non-wearing (sway bars, exhaust) parts can be found for 1/2 price from partouts.
For maintenance, either used parts or RockAuto depending on what it is.
