2003 G35 Sedan with Sport Suspension Front Strut Replacement
 

I have a question about replacing the Front Struts on a 2003 G35 Sedan with the Sport Suspension.

The complete loaded Struts are available from Discount Infiniti Parts Dealers for about $166 a piece.

I was just wondering if anyone has went this route and if these Struts are actually comparable to what came on the car?

FWIW, Rockauto has loaded struts in both the base and sport suspension for sedans (also coupe and 350z loaded struts). I put the base loaded struts back on mine and all 4 cost less than $200 if I recall.

Something to keep in mind is that spring rates can (and usually will) change slightly or greatly depending on what springs they actually send you, make sure to verify this before ordering.

If you want to guarantee no change in the ride quality of your existing struts then just drive down and pay someone to swap out the springs. It's very straightforward and lots of places only charge $10 per strut to swap them out. You can BUY an upright spring compressor (not the little threaded rod ones but literally the upright thing that's the size of a small drill press) for a bit over $100 if you have some place to store it (or just sell it on craigslist when you're done with it!) They're really quick to swap out if you have an impact wrench to break the top nut loose.
