Just trying to see if it’s a serious deal before erasing them

Did you forget to plug in your throttlebody?

it should be there I hear no hissing noise or anything from a leak

I would have taken it back the second it came on. They caused it somehow, they need to make it right.

Yep sounds like they didn't plug stuff back in properly, maybe bent one of the pins in the wire harness.

Never accept a vehicle back in that condition.

Agree I am going back there tomorrow.I paid almost $600 for the labor just to go back home with the cel Light.Im hoping they don’t pull a bogus move and just erase the codes

Update guys so my dad took my car for me to my mechanic today(I was at work) anyways they told him that they claimed they didn’t know what could have caused the CEL light and they think what’s causing it is a wire I have around my plenum (will take pic later) but what they don’t know is that I bought the car like that and I haven’t had no cel since owning it.They then proceed to erase the codes and told my dad that if it comes back on that it could be a sensor (typical excuse) anyways I now pray that my cel light doesn’t come back on or I’m going to have to take it to get it diagnosed at a Nissan dealership.Im so frustrated right now,I cherish my car and now I feel like all my plans are being ruined. My mechanic has always been good to me and fixed all of my family members cars with no problems but no I’m thinking of calling it quits.

I believe the code is related to my air intake.Could it be possible that during the installation of my valve cover they took off my intake and throttle body and put it back on to then cause the CEL Light?? Would an ECU reset be useful at this point?

ECM reset, no, that just resets the long term fuel trim.

However the other resets like throttle body zero, idle air, ...maybe.

There's also a good chance that you did randomly have a sensor die. Wait and see if the service engine light comes.back on.

Here are all the resets and how to do them.

Took my car today to a Nissan dealership and they recommended me to get an idle relearn. They did it for me and now I feel like my car is running better than it was before.I will give it time to see if the light come on but fingers cross that it doesn’t 🤞

Generally if there is an active fault it comes on after 2 or 3 key cycles.

Very possible they started the car while things were still unplugged, causing the CEL light to come on. Even after plugging everything back in, it will take a bit of driving for the ECU to be convinced that everything is fine in order to turn off the CEL light. If u had just kept driving, I believe your CEL light will have turned off on its own. But if they already reset it, then I doubt it will come back on if it hasnt already.

Do an entire ECU reset. like everything. there is a website that has all of the resets you can do. check your IAT sensor make sure its plugged in and getting enough voltage.
