Crank sensor problem
 

I've owned this G35x for 2 weeks. It's my first one. The guy I got the car from is a mechanic. He was the 2nd owner he never had a problem with the car. I ran through a big puddle a week ago, the next day the check engine light came on and it stalled. Ran the codes crank sensor came up. Installed a new one today cleared the coded drove about 12 13 miles and it died. Sat for a bit started up drove 10 ft and it went bats**t crazy. Going to scan it tomorrow the car is stock and has 171000 on it.i love this car it's killing me.

I'm guessing you didn't use an OEM Genuine Nissan or Hitachi brand (OEM supplier) sensor.

Also, there should be a large protective plastic cover under the engine bay that covers the entire thing, is the guard intact? This is what protects all your delicate electronics from water damage, if it's not there then driving through puddles is literally spraying water all over your expensive computer.
