There ain't no grease on them there hinges!
 

The longer I own my G35X (one month today) the more I find myself noticing little details. Today I noticed that the door hinges, trunk and hood hinges were not greased from the factory.

Usually when you get a new car there is a big glob of Lithium Grease on the hinges, but none here. Is grease in short supply in Japan? maybe that's why we pay the big bucks for the dealer service. Of course now a days many parts are grease-less but I don't think these hinges should be un-protected.

Suggestions? Is Lithium Grease still the best for this application? Perhaps something new and improved is on the market? Synthetic?
