Ahhhh-so that's how you close the trunk!
 

Just picked up my sedan about a week ago and was frustrated that the trunk was so difficult to close. Since my car is Black I left finger print marks every time I closed it. Then today I noticed the place for you to pull from inside the trunk to close it so you don't leave prints all over you car. As Homer would say - DOH!

I thought it was kinda weird at first, the handle in the trunk thing. Then I used it and it works great! Gotta love not putting fingerprints on the trunk lid. My Armada has the motorized rear hatch. Takes it one step further.

Just don't pull too hard as the handle will come out in your hand. The piece of plastic that makes it stick in is not big enough so it comes out very easily.

The trunk handle is an engineering marvel, IMO. I love it!

if you use the lights to close it, there are no finger prints.

what about a coupe? I have a white car, so i have to be careful close the trunk too. I put force on the Mt. fuji badges.. (well, i kinda don't want it too)

Except for the ones on the lights.

S-cru...funny you should mention the light trick....i had just started to do that before I found the trunk handle.

i think after star wars III comes out... i'll be able close it using the force... i'm taking notes. all i need are more metaclorians.

I just use the Mt. Fuji badge. No problems so far.

On the inside, to the right of the trunk latch, there's a plastic handhold. You can use it to pull the trunk shut... just remember to let go before the trunk closes all the way. ;)
