Fairwell Si, hello G35.

I never thought I'd leave the Honda camp, but I did. I will miss 8000rpms of DOHC VTEC dearly. I said goodbye to my '99 Supercharged Si yesterday. I mostly got rid of the car because of the overwhelming number of punk *** kids associated with these cars. I wanted something more grown up like a sport sedan. Since a TSX or TL isn't available in RWD I decided to go with Nissan. They had exactly what I was looking for at a very good price.
During my last drive in the Si, however, I came to the conclusion that the G35 will never be as fun to toss around as my Si. I felt like I could climb walls in that thing. And from the looks of the 06 Si I think I will have to buy one as my little screamer. It will be a nice compliment to the G wagon.

I am loving the G though. Torque feels great and the engine and exhaust note sound lovely. I can't wait to start modding. Here are some pics...

One thing you won't miss on your Si are the gobbs of torque steer it had. Install a supercharger on your G and you will never have a passing thought of you Si

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I don't think Civics have enough torque to provide torque steer. I never experienced any.

Congrats....

I also had a similar situation. I had to give up my modded honda for my G, but at least I dont get anymore fixit tickets for the time being. :D

Great choice bro. Congrats on the new ride. Enjoy. :)

From and Si S/C to a sedan? Hmmm... I bet the honda was faster.

Maybe in a stock Si you never experienced torque steer but I bet if you had a Super Charged Si you would have trouble keeping it on the road.
