Katie,
Most of the G35 owners on the road near carlsbad and san diego have no idea about this forum and arent enthusiasts like the rest of us. I've tried giving a nod to a few coupe owners around SD but it never fails that they look at me like im crazy. I dont even bother with sedan owners because most of them are business men in their mid-40's who bought the car for their work.

I'm sure some do...but not all. The reason I say that is of my 17 months of owning my car, only once did a fellow G35 driver wave/give the thumbs up....and he was driving a Coupe! Ever since, still no more waves/thumbs up....but at least I'm not a virgin anymore .

Katie - I say give it a try (just keep up w/ the waving to other drivers, but keep in mind, they may think you're flirting w/ them). I don't mean that as a joke....just telling you how it is.

Enjoy your car!

Haha, it seems like all the stock coupes I see have fat ladies driving them. Defintlaey looks like a midlife crisis situation.

I would give a thumbs up or something, but all the modded coupes (no modded sedans around here) seem to have their heads up you know where, so I don't even bother looking, don't feel like making an *** of myself just to give someone a compliment.

Coupe drivers tend to be total *** holes they hate on all the sedans.

Most sedan owners show love to the coupes, but they hate on us.

I am mostly referring to the people on this forum, and apologies to the few exceptional coupe owners who have nice things to say about sedans.

Iam taking delevery of my G35 Sedan on Monday. Where I live its mostly Mustang county, so it will be nice having a different car. I do on occasions see other G's around, so I will try giving a thimbs up to other G owners here in Hampton Roads, VA and see what happens.

I am already looking at mods for my sedan so my G will stand out more than others. I ordered my G and when my wife went to look at it the salesman said that this car is going to stand out here because its a uncommon combo that I got. I got Twilight Blue w/Stone interior. Also has an aero package, sports package, and splash guards which rare on this car for this area. They found the car in North Carolina and had it delivered here. I will post pictures when I bring it home.

I almost got a coupe, but the headroom was less in the coupe with the sunroof. Also was looking for room to carry four adults comfortably.

Let me guess, you're 30.
I'm 34. My wife tells me to grow up and get a sedan.
