Darn clock can't tell time
 

I have the nav package, when day light savings time kicked in last weekend my digital clock, the one on screen, stayed put. So now it is an hour behind and I can't figure out how to set it back. Manual says that this clock is set automatically by the GPS system. Anyone else have this problem?

Per the Nov 1st nav owners manual posted on line ( the one specific for the 2007 G35), it says this on page 8-10 under Clock Settings:

Select to toggle the daylight saving time setting between on and off. The
indicator light illuminates when the daylight saving time setting is set to
on.

Thanks G35-2-B but tried that already but still no joy.

Is there an adjustment to select your time zone? Not sure that would have anything to do with it but might be worth a look to make sure compass/nav etc is in sync.

Go into Settings......and select Clock ..

Don't know why it doesn't reset to EST from DST and back again. It should.
Perhaps the dealer can shed some light on it for you.

You would think that since the nav knows where you're located, it would adjust accordingly. Some states are in more than one time zone.

Just leave it alone for few months, it will correct itself.

Yes there is an adjustment for the time zone that youre in. You need to go into the settings of the navigation. When I first got my car the settings were that of the West coast, and Im in the East coast. So I simply changed it and my time is correct.

I just turned off the DST adjustment and the clock reset itself to the correct time. Not sure what the problem is, but I am sure the clock will be okay next Spring.

Exactly.....If he's selected 'adjust automatically to DST or Standard Time' and it's not adjusting, then there must be something wrong...

I deselected 'adjust automatically to DST or Standard Time' and it's now working. Kind of backwards but makes sense since the GPS should adjust this anyway.

Good job. Glad it's working for you and no glitches on the car so far.
