Question about Intellegent Key and auto locking

I have been using the key fob thing to lock the car when I get out of it.

I have not tried this yet, but if you walk off and leave the car unlocked does it lock when you get out of range of the key fob thing? Is there a setting to make it do this?

Just seems odd that you don't have to the fob out to unlock it, or drive it. but you do to lock it.

I thought the same thing but no, the car won't automatically lock (that's what the dealer told me, and sure enough when I leave it in the garage it doesn't automatically lock).

Also, as you probably know, the car won't let you lock it with the intelligent key inside.

Just push the lock/unlock button on the handle once to lock the doors.

I think it locks after a while if the car is running. Not entirely sure about that though.
