07 Black G35S with 19" Zenetti Flow rims

5 Attachment(s)
I saw this at the Hoffman Estates, IL. Infiniti dealer when I was checking status of my 07' G35S. They want $4400 for this tire and rim package. They are nuts. 19" 7.5" wide front and 19" 8.5" wide rear Zenetti Flow rims. The salesperson said they are +35 offset front and back (Not sure if these offsets are correct. The tires are Falken 235/35ZR19 front and 275/35ZR19 rear. The back seem to stick out about 1/4" and the front seem flush. The 35 series up front seem to small without being lowered. I am trying to determine that a 45 offset for the MRR HR-2 19" rims will fit properly with 7.5" 245/40zr19 and 8.5" 275/35zr19. I think they will since those rims will push in another 10mm. There was about 1 inch of clearance to the struts front and rear. 1 week till the G35S arrives!

Offsets for 19" Zenetti Flow rims

The offsets are +40 for the front 8.5" and +38 for the rear 9.5" rims.

Skaterbasist 01-06-2007 03:53 PM

Nice...

But I think it would look much better once you get all that break dust/rust off and give it atleast a 1 inch drop.

Wow I never knew the 07 Sedan's ride so high.

.

Not a big fan of those wheels. And you're right - that front wheel gap looks huge. Seems like you could come up with something that looks much better with that kind of $$

Railgunner 01-06-2007 05:15 PM

wow... I've got 19's Volk's on my 2007 Sedan with Falken FK452's and I don't have gap like that... Mine are 8.5F and 9.5R except I'm running 245/40/ZR19 front and 275/35/ZR19 rear. Think they really should have went with 245/40/19's on the front of the car in your pic.

I think those wheels look like crap. I wouldn't half that for them. But, that's just my opinion. I like teh stock wheels much better.

NonAme 01-06-2007 06:42 PM

Man, to be driving around in ur beautifull car with those wheels is a crime and a sin. every cop should pull u over and slap some sense back into u.
dude ur car so hot but those wheels gota go.
Hot car
ugly wheels

$4400 for that set up is rediculous. 19 in Zenetti's run between 1200-1300. Falken tires are cheap. Run for under 800.

mrb 01-06-2007 09:10 PM

$4400 and they come with Falkens? :D

IP05G35 01-06-2007 09:26 PM

Those Falken FK452's are very good tires, who cares how much they cost?

Picus 01-06-2007 10:25 PM

Damn that wheel gap is huge.

robswid 01-07-2007 11:46 AM

FYI...This is not my car!

This is not my car. This is what the dealer thinks we want in a car. I wanted to show everyone what the dealers are trying to sell us. The wheels are ugly and the wrong size. I am waiting for my platinum graphite/graphite g35 sport nav/prem/tech.

Thanks.

you can't judge every dealership for that. we had a nice set of zenetti 5ives on a coupe staggered w/ 10.5 in the rear and 9 in the front. i'm working on pushing some nice 20's on a '07 G but it's not happening now.

Cyanide Ride 01-07-2007 01:50 PM

I don't think those Zenetti wheels look that great on the car either. Perhaps the wheel gap is because the suspension hasn't been broken in yet?. I'd atleast hope that the "rust" brakes would turn to silver eventually.

Railguner, those 5 spoke Volks look fantastic on your car. I've always loved lean, clean and mean 5 spoke wheels. That is spot on.

Up here in Canada, noone really knows what the correct offset for a G35 is, much less a G35X. I've heard everything from 45 to 35 to 23!!!?.

The rims are nice on your ride but not my style.

8.5 w/34mm are flush with the outside of the front fenderwell. 9.5 w/40mm in the rear sticks out about 1/4 inch. I've got 48mm rears on order. These will be approx. 2mm inside the rear fenderwell which should be perfect.

Front tires: 245/40/19 (26.72 dia.) & Rear tires: 275/35/19 (26.58 dia.) seem
to be good for 19" rims.

For comparison, The OEM 18"s are F: 225-50-18 = 26.86" and R: 245-45-18 = 26.68" and the OEM 17"s are 26.74" all the way around.

DirtySouth 01-08-2007 06:50 PM

Rims look decent, but boy do they make those calipers look tiny.

perry05G35 01-08-2007 07:25 PM

Wow I thought that was a G35X until I saw the S badge. I just don't understand why Infiniti/Nissan keeps putting these huge gaps on their cars when all the other sport sedans are running a much more conservative gap ala BMW 3 Series and even Mercedes C230k has a small gap.

Thanks for the informative reply railgunner.

I just want to be sure I've read this right, anyone feel free to correct me if I have dyslexia and am reading it wrong.

If I were to have 8.5 wide rims at all corners (I have an X coming at the end of this month) a 34mm offset would have the wheels flush with the outside fender?. Common wheel offsets I've seen are 35mm and 45mm, would these work on a 18" or 19" wheel 8.5" wide?.

You said a 9.5" wide with 48mm offset would be 2mm inside the fender, but would that rub the suspension components?.

I am sort of leaning towards these rim selections:
http://www.enkei.co.jp/en/p_detail_rp03.html
http://www.enkei.co.jp/en/p_detail_rp03_pri.html

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...4x035&code=yes

http://piaa.com/Wheels/wheel_super_mesh_forged.html

Either wheel has no offset that is exact, but close... Hm, more thinking needed?

Those gold brake discs are the BLING BLING !

marcelkatz 01-09-2007 05:04 PM

i just noticed that those 2 cars are not SPORT this is why i think that the calipers look smaller, with the sports package you are given a larger set or brakes which def look good with 19s and wont look small.

I don't think the 9.5/48mm will rub on the inside on the rear but I'll know for sure in a few more weeks when my 48mm rears come in.

Keep in mind, you can always add a spacer to something like a 48mm to turn it into a 44mm, etc but you can't go the other way and turn a 40mm into a 44mm, 48mm, etc.

Here's a site that has a lot of Volk rims with offsets listed for G35 Sedan's and they are recommending 19x8.5" (+34 offset) front & 19x9.5” (+48 offset)

http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templa...093&SearchYN=N

The 40mm rears I have look ok and don't rub even with two people in the back seat but I want an offset that I won't have problems with if I lower
the car about 1".

FYI, I got my RIMS for 2599.00 and tires for 964.00 (3563.00) total and I really didn't shop around that much. Might could have got them for a little less. Shipping was around 125.00. Cost me about 100.00 to get them mounted.

Someone said the rotors looked a little small... I plan on switching to larger
slotted rotors and stainless brake lines. The rotors are not that expensive at least compared to a full big brake kit (calipers & rotors).

I'll probably trade my G for the 6 or 7 speed AT when it comes out in '08 or '09
so I really don't want to invest in a BBK kit.

Only other mods will probably be adding the OEM factory painted spoiler on the rear and the OEM factory painted lip under the front bumper.

Pictures are of a sport.

The original pictures with the Zenetti rims are on a G35 Sport.

This is an awesome look! Can you imagine what this would look like with slotted and/or cross-drilled rotors? OMFG!!!!
