Aftermarket Wood Kit & Chrome Pillars

I know people were inquiring about the wood kit and chrome pillars so it's on a Liquid Platinum that's leaving the dealership now

Is the wood stick-on or real replacements? Pillars are interesting, I'd like to see that on a black, or without the thin chrome between the two rear windows.

thanks for the post...

Also, what's the cost of the wood kit?

Is that an after market kit? I believe the car is a G35X. Isn't the factory wood available as an upgrade option on the X?

If it is an after market kit, I'd be interested in more information (i.e. real wood, stick on, cost, etc).

whjere can i get the chrome pillars and is that wood kit on top of the washi or african rose???

Mr_Ryte 01-17-2007 06:54 PM

Wow...that looks better than the Rosewood, IMHO.

Ths may be a stretch, but how about the piano black trim like in the M?

The wood might be from these folks:

Then you're looking at $250 - $350. If the dealer did it then it's a $700 option. :D

Damn thats ugly! this one looks way better, but I still prefer the African Rosewood.

The chrome pillars are on Ebay and they look great in person (saw them at the dealer) they sell for $75 bucks on ebay

RamshakleZ 01-18-2007 12:13 PM

Not a fan of the chrome pillars... but that wood looks GREAT! I've been looking for a nice aftermarket solution but really don't want to do a cheap stick-on. I really like the way this wood looks vs the African Rosewood...

Where did this dealer get the wood? How much???

kre62 01-18-2007 01:17 PM

Seems like a lot of poeple want to know more facts on the wood but the OP is nowhere to be found.

I'm not diggin' the chrome piller. I thought I would like it, but after seeing it I think it look ghetto and cheap.
