Great deal on H&R's for '07 Sedan
Just a heads up for anyone out there looking to buy a set of H&R's: check out Tire Rack right now. I bought a set for $247 and since I live in Cali...no tax!! Shipping was only $26. Happy modding!

+1! Great service and fast, reliable delivery!

+2 and they look pretty tight on the G35 blue slate even with stock wheels. Now all I need is an exhaust.

if my dealer doesnt have word on mine when I call today, I might cancel and go through tirerack.... cheaper and I am sure they ship quick.

Are they any stiffer than the springs they use for G's with 4WAS?
|
OK- My dealer had told me they were on backorder b/c H&R was redoing the 07 sedan springs. The ones now on tirerack.com have the drops listed as 1.1" Front and 1.0" rear. I 'think' the original H&R Springs like Hikos and Railgunner have were 1.2" and 1.3" drops. Anyone have any more information on this???

H & R springs website http://www.hrsprings.com is showing part #53036
as the only springs available for the 2007 G35 Sedan. They list the drop on their website as 1.3" front, 1.2" rear. So either tirerack's drop is wrong or H&R has not updated their website. |

If you use the Tire Rack H&R springs
for a 1.1" drop front and 1.0" rear, is it necessary to change anything else about the suspension like camber, for instance? Or is it just a simple drop with no implications, other than perhaps a bit harsher ride?

Railgunner and Hikos have both used the H&R kits and dont have any camber kits etc (as they are not available yet). I am pretty sure the kits they used are 1.3 and 1.2" drops. Not sure if this is a misprint on tirerack or not. Railgunner has posted his alignment specs too in another forum. He was very nearly able to get within factory specs with the H&Rs and 19" rims etc etc. I will post the thread... brb
