No navi for me
First off, thanks to everyone on this forum for the pictures and for helping me decide that I want a G35S for my next lease in May. At first, I was set on a G35S auto with premium and navi packages, but then after a few quotes, $600/mo with $3K down and 36 mo's and 12K miles/year seems too high for the G. So, I have decided to not get the navi. A lot of dealers told me the navi increases the price on a lease a lot due to how it messes with the residual and money factor. I guess those buying used cars don't usually get navi?
I know I will be missing out on the navi, the xm traffic, the voice-activated controls, the hard drive with CF card, but at least I still get the screen and the ability to play mp3 files ripped to a cd haha.
I hope I'm making the right decision.

On an Infiniti backed lease, the NAV should have ZERO affect on the residual or money factor. If they told you otherwise, they are flatout lying. Only change would be the higher cap cost of the vehicle (extra $2100 @ list).
On the other hand, getting an "S" instead of an "X" or a "journey" will result in less favorably rates, relative to the leasing term.

Wow! You are my hero! Thank you so much...I just called a dealer in Atlanta (where I used to live), and he told me $525 G35S with premium and navi with $3K down..........in TX, the cheapest I've gotten for that car is $600.
I think I will move back to GA lol.

If you decide you want Nav later on there are lots of great portable units that work just as good or better than the OEM nav, and are very inexpensive.

I'm glad for the people with Nav that love it; in my case I knew I would use it about once every two months, so (despite my wife wanting to buy it as a birthday present - how sweet is that?!?) I passed on the Nav.
For those six times a year, bought a Garmin Nuvi 350, which is smaller than a deck of cards and works great - plus is transportable to our highway battleship, the Sequoia.
