dont you guys get VPP pricing?

Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant's purchase price

so a g35 sport 5AT with premium + navi for 36300 + tax tempting.

invoice plus $650 on 2007 Sport Sedan

I was able to get invoice plus $650 this weekend for a 2007 G35 Sport with Premium and Nav packages, cargo net, wheel locks, $36054. I plan on keeping this car till my 10 year son is driving and give it to him, so I got an Infiniti 0 deductible extended 7yr/100K warranty for $1600 as well (dealer wanted $2800+). My total OTD price after taxes and fees and extended warranty was $41000.

This was in the SF East Bay.

How do you come to $36300??

AT, Journey, Premium, Navi
Dealer Invoice = $33178
VPP Discount = $547
Dealer Options = $0
Delivery Fee = $829
Destination = $700
Incentives = $0

So, $33178-547+829+700 = $34160 + TTL

Edit:
Oh, my bad..... I missed the sport part.

That's a great deal. I'm looking for a similar package combo and considering the extended warrantly too. Except, I'm looking for liquid platinum/stone.

Actually I calculated about 450 over invoice.

Invoice price: 32,105
Tax (8.25%) : 2648
Licience : 300
Doc Fee : 55
Total: 35108

Looks like you got a better deal than you thought!!

I've spent some time this weekend visiting a dealer and calling a few others in LA area to find the model I want and all of them told me it's hard to get:

Journey ed.
Black on black
Premium with Nav
Perf. tire package
Rosewood trim

Others in the area finding this hard to find?

Wow, that's funny, I'm loooking for almost the same thing:
Journey
Black w/ wheat interior
Premium with Nav
Performance tire package
Rosewood trim

Same exact car as yours except tan instead of black interior. I was told by the dealer today that combo would have to be a special order. If I order right now (this week), the earliest I could get it would be April.

Most of the inventory here in New England seems to be the GX AWD, I don't think I want AWD. Also, even with GX, I haven't seen black / wheat, most black seem to have graphite interior.

Good luck in your search!

This is in another thread as well- but I just picked up a Lakeshore Slate with Wheat interior Journey, Prem, Nav, Tech for $34,800. They also gave me $25,500 for my 05 Coupe Prem (no nav). The original deal was $36,800 on their car, but I was walking b/c it doesnt have the performance tire and wheel package, so they dropped the last $2,000 and now I get to buy my own wheels. Make suggestions in the other thread.

Hi, new to this forum. Was an Acura owner, now an Infiniti owner:

Car: G35 Sport, Sedan, Liquid Platinum, Black interior
Packages: Premium
Under Invoice: $1000, plus an extra $2000 for my trade in. That is what 8 hours of negotiating got me!

I look forward to reading articles from fellow G owners.
