Hey...have any Canadians out there negotiated a really great deal lately? If so, can you let me know the price and the dealer?

Thanks...

Purchased my 07 Sport with Premium and Nav yesterday for 36,500 (invoice is 35,400). There were only 2 available with my choice of color (actual out of my top three colors) and packages. Good deal or not, I love having it.

Purchased my 07 G35Sport with Premium, Nav, Splash Guards and Cargo net for $34,900. Invoice was $34,359. Dealer included Wolfgang paint sealer treatment as part of deal. Had to be ordered - July delivery.

Official 2007 Infiniti G35 Negotiated Deal Thread

G35x sedan 2007 (splash guards, sunroof/moonroof, cargo net)

400 UNDER INVOICE = 3200 under MSRP

invoice at 32950

purchased at 32550

out the door 34760.

NO TRADE-IN. Bought in Northern Virginia area.

Where did I buy it? @ Tyson's Corner, VA Infiniti Dealership. Avoid Jim Coleman (Bethesda)/ (they are not good at pricing)

How did I make a deal like that? Cause i'm a beast. Psych. Um.. first day of February I went in and I shopped two dealers out, and they wanted to get a jump start on the month. Also, I had independent financing.

No the car was not a demo. Come on guys. I bought the car with 7 miles on it.

I'm wondering if anyone can beat 400 under INVOICE not MSRP.

Oh another tip, when you go to negotiate, tell them that you saw these cars selling for 600 under invoice online, and then meet at 500 under invoice. Nice right. I know, its true though, I got mine for 400 under invoice and I think if I tried hard enough, I could have gotten it to 600 under invoice. Anyway. Toodles.

While this is the lowest price that I have seen, considering that it is for a car without premium or nav, I really don't think it is out of line with the market, at this time.

I, sir, am proud of you. Pat yourself on the back!

FYI- in the NOVA area the market is flooded with the Xs, that is all Infiniti shipped them initially, and this is a deal on a non-Nav car. I have no doubt they wanted to move it. Now, try to work a similar deal on a Sport model and a Nav car. I would wish you goodluck.

The dealerships are recently getting in newer stock and getting more Sport, Journey, and Nav cars, they will be willing to deal SOME on these now, but nothing like that. The sales manager at Tysons Corner quoted me sticker and would not budge on any RWD, Nav cars when I bought mine around that same time (I was writing them a check for the car, so I had independant financing as well) because they didnt have any on the lot. The same went for Passport and Chantilly. I bought my Journey, Prem, Nav, Tech at JBA for $34,800 (MSRP $38,600), they also gave me $2,200 more for my '05 Coupe than any of the other places.

You got a killer deal nonetheless-

agree the two posts above.

load up the car with options and you wouldn't be able to get that much under invoice

Why are dealers selling cars below invoice and losing money?

According to Edmunds there is no holdback...how are you able to get below invoice pricing?

By the way, I crushed your deal. I got $1,500 *below* dealer invoice on VPP pricing which is 3.58% below invoice.

Plus, I got employee finance rate and the extended warranty for 70% off.

The VPP discount is very easy to get, the certificates are simply emailed as PDF files and passed around like candy. The employee doesn't even need to be there with you.

My deal was for $400 over Invoice ($3100 under MSRP), but I also bought it 2 weeks after release (way before VPP was available) and got the Prem/Nav/Tech packages.

I do commend the OP on a great deal tho. And for those of you able to get in on VPP, excellent. Buy the car and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.

To get the VPP A-plan for 3.58% below invoice, you technically have to be related to a Nissan employee. You also don't have to pay the delivery fee. The dealer also checks for a copy of the NNA employee ID.

Be assured that the dealer NEVER loses money on a new car unless it's a leftover Q45! By the way, did any of you guys pay on your purchase agreement for any other fee like a preparation fee, or document fee, etc? I'm not talking about license, reg, or plate fee. That everyone pays.
