Never had 20's before. Need advice.
 

Hi everyone,

I have a 2007 G35x that I want to get new wheels for.

The only aftermarket wheels I've ever purchased were for my Honda S2000. I only upgraded from 16 to 17 inch wheels.

My car is on the stock 17's right now, and I wanted to move up to either a 19 or 20 inch setup. Honestly, I LOVE the look of 20's.

Is there any way to add 20" wheels and not sacrifice performance? or at least,.. keep the performance loss to a minimum? How heavy is the stock 17 wheel/tire combo? Are there any lightweight 20's out there? Are 19's considerably more practical?

I don't mind if I lose some ride quality,... I figured that it was unavoidable cuz the car will be lowered anyways.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've already learned so much stuff cuz of this site. Thanks!

my opinion 20's are to ghetto and pointless...If i were you i would look into some nice 19" iForged or Volks...They are super light for big wheels
