07 or 08? (sedan)
at this point in time, would it be worth it to wait for the 08? or most likely get a better deal with the 07?
07 now = slim pickins but not totaly, easier to negotiate price
08 a month or two from now = minor upgrades, any color combos you want, may be hard to neg. price. better resale in a few years (but how much?).
any thoughts?

New for 08:
- Revised Technology and Navigation Packages (I think the rear view cam is standard on Navi package)
- iPod Interface/Intergration (Like G37?)
- Driver’s Audio Stage (sound tweaks?)
- Standard XM Satellite Radio (no big deal)
- AWD (X versions) can be had in a Sport package.

I agree that if you can get an '07 for $500 - $1,000 below invoice, that might be worthwhile. However, one negative to buying a year-end (left-over) model is that when the 08's come out, your "brand new" 2007 G35 will be considered a year old. So the money you save up front may be more than offset with the depreciation for the first year. This is OK if you plan to keep the car for a long time. In this scenario, the depreciation is a non-issue.
However, if it were me, I would go with the '08. But that's because I typically don't keep my cars beyond 3 years.
Good luck in your search. Either way, you will be glad you got a G!
Regards,

For what it's worth, and I don't know if my dealership was blowing smoke or not but they said that the 08s won't be available until January or Feb. since the 07s were released so late. We had to drop off our trade in title to them the next day (Monday of this week) and they were just offloading a carrier truck full of nothing but 07 G35s'.

It doesn't matter to me that we have an 07 because it's friggin sweet! Plus, we leased it so it doesn't really change the bottom line any. AND, we now have an 07 Xterra and an 07 G35... that's right double-07s uhhhh thankyouverymuch
3rd Xterra and second G35.. naah, we don't like Nissan
