I Can't Wait...

I can't wait for the new G37 to release so that more parts will become available for my 07 sedan. So far 2 intakes and 1 exhaust:mad:
I also want to see what parts i can "frankenstein" from G37 to my G35.I'm thinking:springs, exhaust piping and maybe sport rear spoiler.Hmmm ... and those 19" sport wheels:D
What do you think?

why would a g37 release cause more parts for the g35? different engines

same engine different displacement. Only things that are gonna be different are the heads, pistons etc..

most older models parts(which had exactly the same engine) wernt interchangeable from coupe to sedan due to fitament. What makes you think it would be different this time around?

i didnt say it would be diff this time around :p ..i just stated that G37 and G37 have the same block just diff displacement. I am sure underneath the hood the chassis is way diff on both models making all the mounting points diff as well.

Performance mods would be different for both due to different displacements and the addition of VVEL to the coupe. In theory, the 3.5L HR would have more support if the 350Z kept the 3.5L but from all indications, a redesigned Z will go 3.7L.

It's still wait and see but i would think certain parts could be transplanted. Springs from G37 to G35S for 1/2 drop (like on 1st gen G coupe, sedan and 350z),maybe a exhaust mid-section swap that would give you little more bass in exhaust note. From the figures the G37 and G35s do share same wheelbase(like 1st gen Gcoupe mid-pipe to G sedan for more hp). Also another performance car from a particular maker can't help but bring more vendors to create products,so it helps by brand association at least.
By pictures it looks like both engines even share same mounting points on air intakes.Again more products by brand association.
Maybe i'm wishing on a star but think alot of parts will interchange like 1st gen G.;)
