Possible dealer incentives on '07 G's?

With the new '08 sedans coming out soon (not sure exactly when), has anyone heard about possible dealer incentives to clear '07 inventory off their lots? As I said, I don't know when the '08's arrive, but it must be soon. I'm hoping there will be a few deals to be had when that happens.

I believe the 08's will be coming November, so still probably a long time away for SERIOUS incentives.

Potentially. I got mine for about $1400 under MSRP fully loaded. Check the stats in my sig...pretty basic. Not sure about the Tri-State area...got mine at Passport Infiniti Alexandra, VA.

edit: just checked mine on Edmunds.com...I got mine for $2300 under MSRP....so you can probably swing something. And by fully loaded I mean everything except 4WAS.

If the '08's aren't expected 'til Nov, I guess I'll have to cool my heels a little longer.....

Yeah I got mine from Bethesda, MD for $37,797 OTD. Car and features are below...plus it has the uber cool painted splash guards and cargo net...no trunk monkey though.

Wow, that is an amazing price OTD!! I am sooooooo freakin' envious. My 07 Sedan was $57k OTD.

Yeah that's a great price OTD. Mine's $39,143 OTD.

fecurtis Aug 23, 2007 10:21 PM

I agree, most dealerships refused to even match that price.

Wow, even in US dollars thats $54,146, thats crazy.

You gotta remember that cars in Canada aren't priced the same as in the US. The same car is going to cost more US dollars in Canada compared to the USA.

Man, that's a killer deal. Was it a trade-in?

Last week the dealership in Nashville told me Mid to late September for the 08 models. He was a new guy, so he may have been wrong. They had a gorgeous G37 in the showroom.

Hoping to get an '07 or '08 G35 Sedan within the next few months... hoping they'll have a few 07 models with good incentives

I am working with 2 dealers right now and one is about $800 over Invoice the other is still a bit higher, going Saturday to another round of negotiations. I know it is probably sacrilege to say this but I am considering G35 or TL-S. 2 different approaches to the same class of car, and coming fomr a history of TL's I am stil waivering.

noysboy Aug 24, 2007 08:46 AM

I just got a 07 g35x ... coming from a 03 tl-s

Im sure the 07 tl-s is nice, but the g35x is a major upgrade from my old tl-s :)

I don't think you have to wait to get a good deal. You just have to shop around, make your deal on the last day of the month, be willing to take a car already on the dealer's lot, and be firm on the price you want to pay.

I made my deal on a '07 G35x with premium, nav, and tech packages on 7/31. I paid $500 over invoice.
