To All 6mt Drivers With 20's....

Hey guys, I've had my 08 IP g35s 6mt for about 3 full months now and love it more every day. Ever since I got the car the one thing I knew I wanted to do off the bat other then tint was get 20's. I recently was pulling up to a trafic light on a local highway I noticed what looked to be an 04 black coupe with 20's on it at opposing light which had just turned green. As he took off I noticed instantly the car was a stick, but the thing that surprised me was that as he went to shift into second gear, it looked as if there was alot of lag in between his shifts, almost as if the rims were too heavy to be pushed by the car....So my question is, do you guys have any problem pushing these rims? any bog between shifts? I mean, you would think a car with 306hp would have no problem at all....let me know what you think..thanks guys.....

Yes the 20s will slow your car down just a little, I suspect the coupe you observed was just driving lazy... not everyone takes off from every traffic light with the intention of reaching 60 in 5 seconds.

But Yeah i wish i could help you with the question , but unfortunately i cant afford 19s right now, but like the guy said "i bet the juice is worth squeeze."

and also an 04 probably had considerably lower power than the current 306.
