A little better, but the earth didn't move.
My wife and I test drove a 2009 G37x this past weekend. The salesman told us it would blow our 2007 away. Not true. It was probably a bit faster, and it seemed a bit quieter (boo!). Our car has 40k on the clock and is probably about as fast it will ever be, the new car was obviously a bit tight yet, if it had 40k miles it probably would be much more noticeable. The 7 speed tranny, and the better mileage that comes with it would be nice. And I would definitely add the sport package, now that it is available on the "X's" the more supportive seats and paddle shifter are nice. Other than that it's the car I know and love.

+1
It's not a huge difference; as I've said before, 98% of the customers won't be able to tell the difference when driving it. |
As an '08 G35 owner - that makes me feel a little better. :p

Trust me i have heard the g37 sedan engine and if any its quieter than the 07-08 sedans. |
I have no idea but from what I have read it does seem to be quieter and it's smoother and more refined.

do you have a g37 sedan? or are you just talking from dealership visit expierence? :dunno:

You're right, from what I've heard about the VQ37VHR it's said to be more refined and quiet compared to the VQ35HR. Everyone who has reviewed the new 370Z that has the VQ37VHR has said it's exhaust tone is much less noticeable and harsh than the 350Z with the VQ35HR. |
