Hmm... I thought we had chains and didn't require a change.

+1 Who told you we have a timing belt to change...?

We have chains. In VERY rare circumstances they break. You should not have to replace this.

You are correct if your car had a belt. You would most likely replace the water pump and tensioner. Most cars this is a pretty labor intensive process due to the location for the beginner mechanic thus you might as well do all. Plus, the life on all can be about the same.

^ like they said, we have timing chains that are maintenance free upto 100k, was the chain somehow damaged or broken during the wreck?

Don't change the chain. There is no need. It will go forever.... Don't bother.

ok guys, sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't even know what we had a belt or a chain.
Well I was talking about the front pulley drive belt. The one I got is pretty bad after collision. So bought another belt to replace.
Sorry for confusion.
any info on those pulley drive belts??? shoud be easy to change, right?

Easy is a relative term. I believe you have 1 belt.

1. drive onto ramps (not jack stands)
2. remove plastic cover
3. Loosen belt tensioner and/or alternator tensioner
4. remove serpentine belt (belt should have enough circumference to clear the fan)
5. replace serpentine belt
6. reverse steps 3, 2 and 1.
