What's Wrong With My Adaptive Cruise Control?!

So check out this video of my dash. I was driving along on the interstate using my ACC and all of a sudden the car started slowing down and my dash started blinking...what's going on?!

Was the sun shining directly at you when it happened?
Solar flare causes it to act all screwy.

Yes, but this isn't the first time it's happened (far from it actually) and it has happened a few times at night. So you might be right about this instance, but any ideas for past instances?

No, not if it's happened before.
The only time it's given me trouble is in the winter when it's covered with slush and ice but that's different. It shows a dirty sensor warning instead.
If this has been happening at night, you have something else going on. I hope you're under warranty. I was told that the sensor alone is $1200-.

Well I rarely use it, not a big deal just curious. Thanks!
