I certainly don't endorse it.

Looks like someone is using my "HD lip" photos for their own gain.

I normally don't mind, but c'mon. :icon43:

Main pic and detailed pics in the body of the auction. (NOT MY AUCTION).

Gotta watermark your pics Mike.

You put too much work into your DIY's, and they're too valuable for **** like this to happen

alfhasg35 Nov 12, 2010 12:25 PM

that's shady..

and i remember when disneyland had e-ticket rides.. haha..

I have to explain that to the "young'uns," as they don't believe that fact. All they know now is "unlimited rides" lol :)

home depot lips on ebay now..

gtoor1990 Nov 12, 2010 12:48 PM

So if theres no watermark they can use your pic?

soundmike Nov 12, 2010 01:43 PM

I actually employ two kinds of watermarks, the visual type (one you see commonly used all over the web) and a digital type (you don't see it at all).

The digital type is for my more important photos, even when the photo is manipulated elsewhere the watermark stays intact (it's meshed with the 0's and 1's of the file itself, like it's actually part of the image to begin with). It's also traceable to some degree.

I left those "stolen" clear since it was a test fit anyway... notice the blue painters tape on some of 'em? :D

Just email them and they should take them down. I had a similar issue, but it was for non car related things I was selling. They would just reuse my pics to sell their own stuff.

I don't blame the seller for selling these things on ebay. Whoever is stupid enough to buy it deserves to get ripped off. Go to Home Depot and buy it for half the price.

i cant believe these people actually have the nerve not only to steal your picture but to trick people into buying this on ebay!!!!! for $30+ !! FAIL

Shurik355 Nov 12, 2010 08:47 PM

Listen to this...

LOL mike, I can't believen someone has these on ebay now. I usually personally don't mind as well but it just depends.

My brother has an Acura TL with the drop and 5Zigen (2 piece wheels), and also with the wing west lip kit all round ... he was browsing the net one time and came across one website with his TL in it. Some of his photoshoot pics were used for the lip advertisement. It was even on the home page of that website. I was like NO WAY!!! and they didn't even ask his permission or anything.

dockersguy Nov 12, 2010 11:42 PM

That's f#@cking pathetic. Like a slap in the face...

kool_yaar Nov 13, 2010 12:35 AM
