'07 sedan windows auto-up doesn't work

I installed an ipod adapter to the factory radio this weekend which meant disconnecting the negative battery terminal. For some reason now my windows work, but will not go all the way up automatically. Does anyone know the cause / how to fix? thx

You need to reprogram your automatic windows (lost when you disconnected the terminal). It's fairly easy - roll window all the way down but don't let go and hold the button another 10 seconds. Then roll it up and hold another 10. Do that for every window and you should be set.

put ur window half way. then hold the switch up. when the window is completely up, continue holding the switch for 5 seconds then let go.

My drivers side goes up really slow almost as if it wants to stall, and the dealer said it could be the motor or just need to be reprogrammed. I just didn't know if it was a detailed proceedure using some special equipment, or just as stated above.

Either way mine is under warranty so i will let them do their job and do it even if it's as simple as stated above.

its really not hard, you can even do all the windows at the same time if you are in a rush. not really a science to it either. just continue to hold the window button down, after the window is all the way down, for a short period of time. then roll it back up and hold the button up for a bit after the window has already gone up.

what i do is push the button one time for the window's to go down all the way then i pull the button all the way up for 10 seconds. and then you repeat this for each window.

I did this all the time on my car because i forget to connect something and i end up having to reset everything.

When I had to re-initialize mine, it was all the way down, pause, all the way up and continue holding for a minimum of 3 seconds past when it hits the top.

Worked like a charm. I freaked out initially because I thought I broke my windows :/

This happened to me when I got my first mod the BB grounds. I disconnected my negative battery terminal to do the install and when I finished up I thought I thought I somehow messed them up. I was freaking out pretty good too.
