Sport drilled aluminum pedal kit, DIY?

I am trying to buy and replace myself the pedals with aluminium pedal kit for my 07.

Is that too difficulty? or need to take it to any auto repair? not to the dealers.

If you're taking about the ebay drilled pedals for the infiniti then i believe its just a few screws, a few have done it here and was said to be an easy job.

The Infiniti pedals are available for order and require the removal of the brake & cluth pedals (easy) and gas pedal assemble (a little more challenging)
The dead pedal is part of the carpet... not an easy replacement at all, and not really cost effective either
I assumed he was talking about the Infiniti pedals... but I'm not sure.

The aftermarkets are simply held on with a few screws... no DIY is really needed

^ oh you might be right now that i reread his post, in that case as Aeson said replacing to OEM S pedals is a bit tricky for the gas pedal and impossible for the dead pedal since its part of the carpet.

Not worth the time and $$ since you wont be able to change out all of em, just get the ebay kit if you want to and it attaches easily with some screws.

I think those are for the previous gen vehicles, as mine don't look anything close to that.

They are^^

07+ sedans and 08+ coupes have different pedals completely.

AesonVirus 02-24-2011 10:31 PM

Look for these...

They're not easy to find either... anyone know an easy place to get them?

rick sells em minus the dead pedal cause like you know its attached to the carpet, but imo get the Ebay kit if you want the aluminum look, they are much cheaper, look nice and are easy to install and swap when needed. However the OEM do look nice.

I thought I remembered Rick having them, but they're not listed on his eBay store page.
I could only find the 06- pedals

I suppose a quick phonecall would be the best way. :)

where can I find these pedals for an 08 automatic? thanks.

kool_yaar 03-15-2011 11:25 AM

Pm rick@riverside, he at least used to sell em for sure and he should still be selling them...

djfarhan 03-15-2011 12:21 PM

^ rick doesnt work there anymore..;-(

kool_yaar 03-15-2011 02:35 PM

^ thats sad, i didnt know that. Anyways im sure riverside infiniti would not let their online sales from this site slide so they should have a competent replacement(hopefully) so just try giving them a call and see if they still offer discount prices for g35driver members else you can get it from any other dealership really since i havent seen these being sold online elsewhere.

djfarhan 03-15-2011 05:51 PM

^ their ebay site is gone too
