Can't get XM NavTraffic

Could someone please help me out. I have a 2008 G35 and I have been trying for over a week to get my NavTraffic to work. I do not have the traffic icon in the top right corner of my map (below the time). I have been calling XMradio atleast twice everyday all they keep doing is resending the signal and that is not working for me. If I go to my traffic settings it says XM NavTraffic required. I subscribed for XM NavTraffic and XM Everything. My XM radio stations are playing perfectly though. What am I doing wrong?

They did add the traffic package right? I was having the same issue for awhile and then they realized they didnt have the package setup on my account even though they charged me for it. Took me 3 days before they finally got it right.

Well I do see it when I log into my online account. I have spoken to over 10 people there at XM, some claimed they took it off and put it back on. I will call again and insist that they make sure it is actually on.

Thanks for the reply. I will call now and post my results.

Still not working. They claim they took it out of the system and put it back in. But it is still not working. They are saying I need to contact Infiniti.

You mean no one else in this forum had or have the same problem as me? :confused2:

iv never heard of such case on these forums unless i missed it somehow, if there was someone then hopefully they will chime in. If XM is sure that they have activated the package then it might unfortunately be something with your gps system hardware or software in the car. You will have to take the car into the dealership for a check up cause no real third party mechanic/shop can really help you with this.

As I said in the other thread bout this:

I'm having the same exact problem. My car is going to be in a body repair shop for a few weeks so I can't test it out but before I dropped it off the navtraffic gave me a message saying I needed a new subscription or something. Funny thing is I signed up for a few years of service only a couple months ago.

I can't say I have heard of anyone else with this problem over the years either.

I'm having the same problem.... Sat radio works perfectly. No xm traffic, which I've subscribed to.

Turns out in my case that the Sirrius website logged my subscription plan incorrectly - I was getting charged for Select instead of Mostly Music & XM traffic. Pays to check.

i have the same problem. I have had XM for years. Now mind you i do not have the "internet" plan just the basic subscription.. i thought that may be the issue with me. My settings say the same as the OP. My music has always played fine and i do NOT HAVE the traffic icon either. I just assumed it was because i did not have the internet plan in addition to the basic subscription. That may be the case for me...but i would also like to know if OP gets this resolved...
