Common issues with the 08's

Hey all,
I'm looking into getting either a new Hyundia Sonata or a used '08 G35x with 60k miles (both are $22k)

What are the common issue associated with the 08 G35s? Mechanical, electrical problems... whatever.

I was researching the Sonata and apparently there are steering issues with just about every one of them. I've had an '02 Sonata that has had nothing but front wheel problems since day one, and I also had a '00 Elentra that went through 3 transmissions. So I'm not much of a fan of Hyundai anymore. I have had a used Acura Integra for the past 10 years, only thing I ever had to do was change the spark plugs.

Thanks for the help and info all!

The G's are pretty reliable and comparable to acura's, 08 has the upgraded interior material that does not scratch easily like the 07s has the upgraded smoother throttle, the engine is very reliable, the most common issue i have seen is people complaining about "shudder" during low rpms at times with AT. Iv had no probs with my MT, a couple of ppl here have gotten 100k+ miles with no expenditures except maintaince...

If you don't need AWD you may be able to get a regular RWD G for the same price w/ a lot less miles (much more warranty left), at 60k miles you won't have a warranty to fall back on.

Its difficult to find a regular g35 around here. For some reason the X models are the only ones out on the used mrket right now. I would rather not have an all wheel drive anyway as I hear they consume more gas and have more mechanical things that can go wrong with them.

If you have any more suggestions please let me know. Thanks guys!

FYI do not buy the new sonata they have a serious pulling to the left issue and they don't have a fix for it .
