There is a vent in the center console that lightly blows air into the back seat area.
I use a Yankee Candle Car Jar air freshener (leather scented)... snipping just the corner of the package off and I lay it on that vent inside my center console. The air passes through and sends just the slightest amount of leather scent into the car.
As it wears, I snip a little more of the package, allowing more scent out of the baggie package and into the car.
My car always smells awesome (like it was new) and this method keeps the car smelling nice in between leather treatments... and the air freshener is out of sight/out of mind as well.
