A 1" drop is much more noticeable in person on an X. It winds up being about the same height/gap as the OEM Sport model and handling is improved.
It will settle a bit more and will look nice with some new wheels.
Fwiw, mine is lowered the same amount and fyi, in winter, I am plowing snow (under carriage) much more than I did prior. I won't go lower for fear of damaging the front differential.

looks alright but like everyone else said a little lower time to get some new wheels now

well since your G isnt as low as that one youre going to want to go with a higher offset then he is or else they are going to poke also youre going to have some wheel gap other than that i cant really think of anything else

Well my options are:
19x9.5 with either a 20 or 33 offeset...
or
19x8.5 with either a 15 or 35 offset...

any recommendation for which may come the most flush since the ones in the link I gave may poke out a little?

In all honesty, the ride with the Prokit is not what I would call smooth. People who say it is just like stock are probably talking about when the roads are smooth. Everyday roads around my area are full of undulations, imperfections, and other things that unsettle the ride. Of course, I have sway bars which imho makes more of a difference in ride quality than lowering springs.

Well I have an update, not in regards to the drop, but the wheels. I found a set of g37 19's 30 miles away from me that I could not turn down.. They are in pretty good shape compared to most I have seen in the classifieds and came with the TPMS sensor. I just need to get new tires for it since I have an X. These tires only have 2500 miles on them, but I don't want to risk running staggered size tires on the AWD..

Here is the updated pictures:

Again I know its not as slammed as most would have it, but my goal from the outset was to improve the look while keeping it comfortable and functional. The plan is to get some winter tires on the 17's and just swap when winter arrives.

Does anyone want any G37 tires ?

Thanks,

Chris
