Car jerks while accelerating/driving

Hi guys,

Just have a quick question. My car jerks while acceleration or driving and the rpm bounces up and down. This only happens in the first 2-3 minutes of driving and when driven with the engine warm (about 5-10 minutes after starting from dead cold).

Do you know what it could be ? I have cleaned both my MAF sensors last weekend, and it's better (jerks less) but it's still there and I still can feel the jerking when I'm driving it. I'm going to clean my throttle bodies this weekend and see how it goes.

Thanks !

Nope, never stalled or turned off on me or jerk when braking or at a complete stop.

I believe only the dealer can do this service?

Yes, it's an '07. I got it UpRev tuned about a month ago and they said they couldn't find any issues.
Or are you talking about a different ECU flash ?

Does the engine actually fluctuate like that, or is it possible the tach is just going nuts?

Yes it does, you can feel the jerk. It's not the tacho. It feels similar like a manual car about to stall.

I read your post, and seems like I'm having exactly the same problem like you mentioned there. So how did you fix it ? I told the workshop about this when I had it UpRev tuned and he said he couldn't find any issues .

Also is there a fix for the rattling/vibrating passenger seat (seat back and headrest) while driving ?

My G has the same issue. I'll get it reflashed one day.

I finally got the chance to clean my throttle bodies, however my car still jerks like I explained on my very first post ? I cleaned my throttle bodies, MAF sensors (with CRC) and air filters, change the ignition coils back to OEM and did an ECU reset but still the same. Any other ideas ?

Thanks

Coupe 6MT Premium RAS
If the engine stalls completely it's usually a vacuum leak.
