Thumbs up G35 to G37 Conversion (Front End)

Hey guys, so I recently got into a lil fender bender and I got a quote from the insurance company that the damage that I have is coming to be near $2500 - $3000... Long story short, friend backed up into my car and he drives a 99 Land Cruiser and on top my car is lower. Hood will be replaced, along with the grill, and front bumper repainted and the two side panels.

My question is, I was considering doing a conversion on my G35 Journey completely converting the front end into a G37 look. Seen a guy with a black G35 do that, looks clean a$$ HEII.

SO I wanted to find out what exactly would I need to replace and how much would it run me?!? PICS would be great if you have come across any...

THANKS!!!!

a lot of members have gotten work done through 180custom. between talking to them, and one of the exterior vendors here - strafe or another of your choosing, they would be able to get you the best pricing.

bumper, grill, and headlights should be all you need for the exterior - granted none of your motor parts have been damaged.

Conversion requires - "Bumper, grille, headlights, fog lights, windshield washer tank, and some little pieces. Fenders and hood is the same"

Damn!! You have good friends!! I wish my friend would back up into my car resulting in: Both Headlights damage, grille damage, and front bumper damage!! The would be the ultimate mod!!! Love the G37 front end!!

Won't the conversion hurt resale value?

You mean because the accident gets reported to Carfax?! Most likely! But if you do the convertion yourself I don't see why it would hurt the resale value! You could always go back to stock!

Usually insurance companies inspect the work after the body shop completes the fixes. This happened to me on my old bimmer, some random guy from the insurance company inspected and took picutes of the body work.
I would be worry if I did so and have a different front end then the orignal.
