Creased leather seats

Creased leather seats
Quick question, my driver's seat shows horrible signs of wear, and the car's still under warranty till next year. When I brought it up to the dealer to suggest replacement they said I was "normal wear." i took a loaner, and it too had slight wear (2011 G37 sport w/11k). I read somewhere in this forum though that someone had luck with getting the dealer to replace. My '08 G35x only has 30k. My M Roadster in comparison is 11 years old, double the miles, and the leather shows very minimal wear.
Any insights?

Hmmm. Mine only has 17k and the passenger seat has a few pronounced annoying creased on the bottom right. Never even thought to ask to get that replaced under warranty.
No real insight as to why they wear so quickly. I just assumed the woman who had leased my car previously had a fat son or husband bending the little part that goes up in front corner.

Are you conditioning the leather? If it dries out and gets brittle its more likely to show signs of wear. Using a soft cleaner (like diluted woolite) followed by a nice leather conditioner (i.e. lexol) twice a year will help keep the leather soft and less likely to show signs of wear.
Doesn't help much if the PO weighed 500lbs though.

Absolutely. I use both the Lexol leather cleaner spray on microfiber, and Lexol wipes, but I usually do it about once a month. Hopefully I'm not overdoing it, but the car gets driven a lot for work. I know I could also get the leather refinished at a shop, or worse case, get a seat cover at my local car wash, lol.
@ Tian: I'll need to look into the TSB to see if I can have the dealer replace.

I'm having my driver's seat bottom replaced for this very reason. The foam is collapsing.
However, the seat bottoms are on back-order from Japan. It'll be a couple more weeks before it comes in.
I just pointed it out to the service advisor. She said she'd have the techs look at it and, sure enough, they're replacing it.
They didn't mention a TSB in my case.
