Spark plug socket won't fit?

Hey guys trying to change my plugs on my 07g35x and the ones that were in there were densco iridium and used a 14mm to get them out and got Ngk iridiums to replace and they need a 5/8 to fit but I used about 10 different 5/8 sockets and 16mm sockets and none of them fit into the hole in my engine to screw them in?

Any help please

Sorry Pete, but it sounds like you got too large of a plug for the car. DO some searching and read up on it; they are a particularly slim plug that works for our cars. Just a regular old NGK Iridium is apparently too big. You need either a Denso FXE22HR11 (stock #3442), or an NGK DILKAR7B11 (stock #1406). Neither is cheap. Here's RockAuto's listing:

you guys are such noobs when it comes to shopping...man oh man and you thought ladies where stupid with $$$$.........

Use advance auto parts and get 40% off using coupon codes and 10% cashback via FATWALLET.com. Then add in your credit card cashback and look. I picked up $10.09 spark plugs for uber cheap. Lets do the math and see what I can get for how much you spend to get 6 plugs...mwahahahahaahahahh

6 Plugs OEM Denso FXE22HR11, 1 Charcoal activated Carbon Cabin Filter, Mobil 1 75w90 Diff Fluid For $68.68. WHAat that is less than what you would spend to get your plugs..............

76.32 - 10% FW Cashback (7.63) = $68.68

Dude, seriously . . . are you in dire need of some Viagra or something? WHAT is your problem? :confused2:

faiz23 May 21, 2012 01:04 AM

my problem is $$$$ being pissed away and sent into pockets of millionaires..... Why not use common sense and stretch your peanuts into cashews

$74.90 - $46.47 = $28.42 wasted into vapor
