Boosted 08 g35 to 380 hp
2008 G35 Sedan-Blue Slate/Black interior.
Just wanted to announce my mod results so everyone will know what the 07-08 G35 sedan is capable of achieving with bolt on mods only. MODS STILLEN 3rd Gen. Long Tube CAI STILLEN 2nd Gen. Cat-Back Exhaust STILLEN High-flow Catalytic Converters STILLEN Long Tube Headers These mods alone added 45 WHP and 40 ft/lbs trq to the wheels. TUNE UPREV OSIRIS-Tune done at GoodSpeed Performance Lab in Scottsdale, AZ on the MAHA LPS 3000 dyno, the most accurate dyno in the world. Tune added 20 WHP and 15 ft/lbs trq at the wheels. OVERALL RESULTS Boosted G35 from its factory 265 WHP to 330 WHP Boosted factory 235 ft/lbs trq to 290 ft/lbs trq at the wheels. ***With the G35's 15% drivetrain loss these results translate into 380 HP and 333 ft/lbs trq*** Side note: MPG's have taken a hit under city driving only. I am averaging 15 MPG city (Less under hard driving obviously), however highway cruising MPG has been un-affected. |
You have a dyno chart for this?
|
No I do not, apologies.
|
Then how are you determining how much HP you gained?
|
I was shown the computer graphic of the dyno result and it showed 330 WHP and 290 ft/lbs trq. The MAHA LPS 3000 dyno has the capability of factoring in the drivetrain loss and after the translation it came out to 379.5 HP and 333 ft/lbs trq. I should have asked for a print out, but forgot.
|
Question:
How can you have high flow cats and long tube headers? Long tube headers generally are cat-less on our model. Maybe you mean the short tube, "high flow"? |
|
tim2rice sticker addd hp too

I live near there and looked at their site for options for my 911 turbo and it was insanely priced IMHO. |
I would take any dyno reading with a grain of salt. The only way to really tell is to take it to the track.
|
How did you get baseline numbers?
Why couldnt their advanced dyno output a graph for you? How did you get Stillen long tube headers that they dont make? Did they make a custom one-off pair for you? "Boosted" implies forced induction, don't use incorrect terminology. I think you either remembered the number incorrectly or their dyno is super super generous. |
G37s with Stillen intake, Stillen headers, ART Pipes (better than Stillen HFC), Stillen Exhaust and Osiris tune. Almost 100% idential to your setup, except better engine and better cats. 323whp 262 tq
Either your tuner is a god among tuners or numbers are inflated. |
