Did I get the most out of my starter?

Getting too old for the more complex DIY so i took my 08 G35 to my Infiniti dealer here in Augusta (GA) They have been very reasonable with brake jobs, Transmission & Rear End Fluid changes, Plug changeout/injector cleaning & new front hub/wheel bearings in past. New starter for my ride was 600 bucks..ouch Looks like they put on more than the new starter though. The car has 194k on it now and still rides like new. (Replaced strut/shocks also) This is most likely in top 5% or so for mileage for 08 owners. With exception of the steering wheel/armrest paint peel issue and the damn front cup holders this car has been the best car i have ever owned. My work truck is a 1995 S-10 2.2L with 524K (rebuilt engine, trans new front end parts and clutch all around 365K) There is something to be said IMHO about a car that is well designed and engineered that ALSO is very competitively priced. Makes me want to hold on to those vehicles forever...Hoping to get 300k out of this engine...dunno if anyone has ever done that but i suspect so... so at 194K did i get the goody out of my starter?... Ha i suspect so also on that....

PS i truly enjoy reading the posts on this site. Owners are very helpful and post interesting comments. Gary i think you need to start some sort of blog about G cars - and let everyone know what has worked well with Slick...
