Transmission slip

Did my first oil change since purchasing my 08 g35. Now the transmission is slipping. Why?

How much did you drain vs. how much did you add back in? How are you checking for proper fluid level? Exactly what fluid did you use?

You changed the ENGINE OIL or the transmission fluid ? If you changed the engine oil, it's purely coincidental, as odd as it may seem.

He didn't say "engine" though, just "oil". I don't know (nor care) why oil is called oil and fluid is called fluid but to some, they're similar enough.

Ok because I JUST HAD TO KNOW I googled the difference between "fluid" and "oil" and the reason is a finely sprayed OIL mist is flammable where a fine sprayed hydraulic FLUID mist is not, developed during WW2 specifically for that purpose. I love the internet.
