Hey guys this is my first post on this website and unfortunately it’s a call for help. Basically, I had replaced my left front driver’s axle about 3-4 months ago. When I went to replace the axle the mechanic noticed that the bolts had came loose from the actual part the axle is supposed to be bolted to and wondered how it was possible.
Recently about 3 weeks ago, the same axle broke again. Same thing happened, inner cv joint was broken and bolts were coming out of where it was supposed to be fastened at which is where the axle connects to the spinning part of the differential or whatever it’s called.
This time I got the genuine Infiniti part and had my mechanic install it. i watched my mechanic install the part and everything was good.
I drove off and 2 days later I felt a small knocking when braking while going slowly and decided to check my axle. There it was a bolt felt out in my hand and another one was loose. I’m not sure why this is happening... is the threading loose or something ?
My tie rod end has a little play to it and my steering wheel shakes a bit when braking so would all this vibration cause the axle bolt to unscrew ?
Thank you to anyone that can help
